Inês de Vasconcelos Miguel (b.1985, Lisbon, Portugal)

Visual and performance artist, passionate about visual and soundscapes.

She graduated from Escola Superior Artística do Porto with a degree in Fine Arts and Multimedia in 2008. After finishing her master's degree in teaching visual arts, she moved to Berlin in 2013 and lived there for 10 years.

Inês participated in performance art workshops with Jürgen Fritz, Marilyn Arsem, Manoel Barbosa and Nezaket Ekici. Performance art plays an important role in her artistic journey. Highlighting the performances presented at Venice Performance Art Week, at Palazzo Mora, Venice; Fieber Festival 2017, at Meinblau Projektraum, Berlin; Sofia Underground - International Performance Art Festival, Sofia; Tarabya Cultural Academy, Istanbul and, in collaboration with the artist Manoel Barbosa, at the 16th Bienal de Cerveira, Vila Nova de Cerveira.
Highlighting group exhibitions at Fábrica Braço de Prata, Lisbon; Serralves Museum, Porto; Factory Art, Berlin; Fundação Escultor José Rodrigues, Porto and at the 1st International Biennial of Montijo, Montijo.

In 2023 Inês left Berlin to start a new chapter of her life in Brittany, France, where she currently works and lives.
